Default Old snare drum identification (Pearl)

Hi all,

This is my first post and im fairly new to the vintage drum scene, so hopefully im not asking a stupid question but here goes.

I bought a old Pearl snare drum off eBay with the intention of restoring it and would just like to know if anyone has seen this type of drum before because I cant seem to find any information on it. Details as follows:

Brand: Pearl (atleast thats what it says on the throw-off)
Size: 14 inch
Lugs: 6 (top and bottom)
Covering: Blue fur (<---this is the interesting bit)
Construction: Steel

Ill try and get some photo's up if I can, but for now im just interested in your thoughts.

Cheers,
Matt

Pics are needed, probably post in the non-USA makers area. But fair to say the fur is after-factory
