I had one in 70's one of the best snares I ever had

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies 66/67 downbeat with canister Super 400 small round knob once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family. |

Hey guys,
Do you know what year Gretsch started doing the little stamped "train track" bead around the center of the metal snares? The Gretsch catalogs on this site are missing a few years. It jumps from 61 to 64. The 4160 in the 61 catalog looks like mine. The 4160 in the 64 catalog has the little "train track" I had thought that my drums were from the mid 60's but if this catalog is right then they are a little bit earlier than that.
