Here's another snare pic and another of it in its new home. It sounds great (of course).

The kit pic is of the kit I've owned since 1978. The newer (actually older) kit will take some time to clean and tidy up. It will be fun to see the transformation.

The walnut and rosewood finishes are my favorites from Gretsch. Pure class. Beautiful snare and kit.

That is one sweet looking kit! Congrats on your snare find. I love the way the depth of the wood grain looks!
