Default Re: Three Worrisome Nights
Here's an update, I do have mild arotic stenosis, I know Mick Jagger had it severe enough to have a tavr done a few years ago. That's where they go in through your groin with a tube to replace the valve, no cutting. Anyway, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving I took a bad fall at around 2am. I was feeling congested, like I was coming down with something, so I took a melotonin and hit the sac around 8. I took another melotonin about an hour later. I remember getting up around 11, then going back to bed. After that I don't remember much, my daughter said she heard a boom and I was lying in the hallway, I fell right on my face and there was lots of blood. She said I was out for a few seconds, I came to while she was on phone with EMS. She told me that I acted like nothing happened and wondered why EMS was called, apparently, I got dressed while one of the paramedics watched me, but I don't recall any of that. They took me to the ER and put me in another sorta waiting room. I mean I was alone in a small room with a bed, but no bathroom. I had lacerations on my nose, cheek and upper lip that was also swollen and I required stitches, the cartilage on my nose was slightly fractured. They did an MRI and I also had a small fracture on my cervical spine, so I had to wear a flea collar. I looked like I was in a street fight with Rocky, yo Adrian.
It all got me worried about the arotic stenosis, maybe it had gotten worse. I informed my cartiologist and his nurse said she thought it was the melotonin that caused me to lose my balance. She advised me not to take it anymore. I had been taking it for weeks prior because I couldn't sleep. So, I missed almost two weeks of work, I'm still feel a bit woozy, have pains everywhere and I'm having bad anxiety.
Sorry about the sideways picture.
