Default Vintage drums and drumming in action!

Opening clip from the beginning of a movie I saw a while back called "Once A Thief" from 1965. Not recognizing the drummer but at times he reminds me of Philly Jo Jones in playing style and sound. I was watching this and thinkin, "man this is crazy cool daddy-o!"

Did you see how fast his hi hat was going? unreal....

Think he got some of the speed the guy was selling in this sample.......

IMDB says Russell Lee plays the drummer, although that doesn't necessarily mean that he played the drums. But my left leg hurts just watching this.

Cheers for posting that, enjoyed the drumming and the dialogue snippets were priceless!

Tried watching it on my phone. Drumming sounded great but the video was too small to really watch it closely. So what's the equipment he's playing on?
