Hello wonderful people!

I was looking for help on identifying a piccolo snare I recently attained. I tried looking online for help but it seems to be a FrankenSnare made out of several different parts.

There is no badge, the lugs have the part number 2225 on the back of them, the snare butt plate says Ludwig but the throw off is not Ludwig, the hoops are single flange and the snare side hoop seems to have non factory cuts on them for the snares to lie, and lastly the shells looks to be fiberglass and I don't know the name of the finish or the company who made it.

Any help on any of the parts would be much appreciated! I will post more pictures as well.

The lugs, butt, and strainer all look like Ludwig Downbeat to me.

Hoops and shell, not so much.

Yes the lugs, butt and strainer are from a Ludwig Downbeat, I agree fiberglass shell. I'd be interested in the drum if it's for sale or trade.

I might be interested in trade/sell, but at this point I'd like to know exactly what I have. Mainly I want to know the shell manufacture and the year at this point.

For a second, i thought it was an extremely rare Downbeat Pink Oyster Pearl snare drum, but upon a closer inspection, i would agree with the other members here and say that you have a franken-snare drum, made up of downbeat hardware, and some unknown fiberglass shell..

I am not an expert but I think the shell maybe a Blaemire. Not sure if that is spelled right.
I have seen mostly a light green version but think I saw this pinkish also but a little rarer.
Rims = could not tell you.
What size is the drum? Just curious.

The drum size is 3x13in.

Sure looks like a spun Blaemire shell.

How many lugs? A 3x13 would be more of a Jazz Combo size than a down beat. Not that it is really either one but I am curious if it is an 8 lugger or 6.
