DB! Great looking Duet outfit!
I've loved the Duet since I saw it in my first drum catalog, the '68 edition given to me by my high school music teacher. I purchase the pictured kit on eBay some years ago. The 20/16/12 were offered for sale as a kit and I had to get the matching Artist snare drum separately. The second 12" tom was also available separately, but was the shell only, which I purchased. I inquired as to why there was no tom mount on the bass drum and the seller told me it was because the set was originally a Duet, but the second bass drum was sold off years before. Bummer! As you can see, I added a Maxwell rail mount on the bass drum for the 12" tom, which works great! It's just a shame that the other bass drum was sold off. I would have loved this as a Duet!
