Default Please Help Me Identify This Cymbal
I have what seems to be an older 22 inch Sabian AA ride cymbal of some kind. Most of the lettering has been rubbed off, all I can really make out is AA. It weighs in at a hefty 3350 grams. Logic leads me to want to call it a heavy ride, but I don't know what Sabian calls it.

It's a really good cymbal with a better than average bell in my opinion, not quite as good as my early 70's Zildjian Ride, but pretty close.

The light colored blotchy spots are light reflections from a very sunny Colorado day, not actual discolorations. I'll try to get some better pictures of it up soon.

Anybody know whether this is a Heavy Ride, or Rock ride, or some other model?

I'm thinking on offering it on eBay for around $200.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Found my original sales receipt, it's a medium heavy Sabian AA 22. Based on the pricing I'm seeing for these on Ebay, CL, FB Marketplace, and Reverb. I know how to price it now, seems I had it pretty much on the nose.

It's ugly, and looking at me.

That's what I say to my Sabian 22 AA. Yours is too, got that copper glow poking through, I can't keep mine a uniform color because of it but, it's my favorite ride. My other Zildjian's are all uniform.

lol, it's mostly because I took a crappy photo, the coloration is actually perfectly even through and through. Mid day Colorado sun is a killer for photography.
