Hi all.
I saw this Premier (in attachment) that is for sale and seems to be in good shape. Can You help me identifying it and give me some information about it? Seller thinks it is from 80's. Any info is much appreciated. Thanks! |

Badge is an 87-2000 badge. Kit looks like a mid 80's XPK

What about the inside ply? Seems to be black but I'm not shure if the shell has reinforcement rings. |

XPKs had a walnut finish in the line, that doesn't look refinished to me.

Is this a good set? Entry level or intermediate level?

http://vintprem.moonfruit.com/#/apk-and-xpk/4511415763 I really like the APK/XPK lines especially the earlier ones. They were an intermediate line back in the day, but always sounded good to me.They have the same triple-plated quality chrome, slightly under-sized shells and tunabilty that I expect from a Premier kit. Oh, and I see Paiste pies in the pic!

Seems like the "what drums are these?" questions mostly come from the Premier camp, doesn't it? The myriad of sizes, wraps, finishes, drum heads, etc. is boggling. If you go eBay in the UK the Premier selections are some you've never seen before. Anyway....
