I need to replace bottom hoop on my 13" mounted tom on my 1960's Slingerland. Is there a big difference in using a chrome over steel hoop as opposed to a chrome hoop? Is there even a difference? Should I go for the Chrome over brass instead if I want to restore properly?
Help! Thanks! Last edited by davidnyc64; 01-08-2015 at 10:57 PM. |

I never had it but I'd like to get one. I see that some are COS and some are COB. It's from early 1960's.
Thanks for any help, David |

then it would be a cob model if early 60's. take a magnet and see if it sticks to the rim if not it is a cob.
