I like 2 ply tops for Blaemire Shells:
Top/Batter: Evans-EC2, Remo-Emperor, Remo-Pinstripe Single Ply on Reso Bottom/Reso: Clear Remo Ambassador No hi-jak Mr. Layton. We like you.

Very nice find Peter K! If you do decide to unwrap/cut your shells, you have a great source local to you. Scott (green glass drum) has a lot of experience working on these shells. I personally would cut those down a bit. Good luck with the drums!

AND Mendozart is also very experienced with these shells.
He and I were both students taught by the the Master Archaeologist Our late great friend Jerry Jenkins. So, ask us anything you want.
