>From which period is the muffler? You are a lucky man on the heads. Calf are the way to go for the best sound. Duco /natural finish no way to tell unless there are tell tale signs under the badge or lugs. Muffler looks late 30's. Hard to tell. Fine drum. Enjoy. Creighton

the muffler is a 40's model but the knob is late 40's to 50's. It was more than likely a duco colored shell. get some 14" puresound steel snare wires tune it up and smiles for miles.
