You are a lucky man on the heads. Calf are the way to go for the best sound. Duco /natural finish no way to tell unless there are tell tale signs under the badge or lugs. Muffler looks late 30's. Hard to tell.

the muffler is a 40's model but the knob is late 40's to 50's. It was more than likely a duco colored shell. get some 14" puresound steel snare wires tune it up and smiles for miles.
