Question Floor Tom for Late 70s Ludwig White Cortex
I have a 1977/78 Ludwig kit with White Cortex wrap, 3-ply shells (maple/poplar/maple) with re-rings. I'm looking for a Floor Tom to go in between my 14x10 mid tom and my 18x16 Floor Tom. A lot of times there's notes I want in between those that are too high to sound good on the Floor Tom. I've observed the market for a while and haven't seen what I'm looking for. Do you think this item is acquirable or is it just too rare and it will never be for sale? If anyone has a drum like this that they're willing to let go of please let me know! I would prefer white cortex but if that's an unlikely find then I would probably be willing to settle for a complimentary color.
