I’m a bit of a novice in the vintage drum world, but I recently came across an older Rogers set and the badge had a line under it (i.e., Rogers was underlined). I looked through the badges on this site but didn’t find one with a line. The wrap seems to be ripple pearl, as best as I can tell from the catalogs on the site.
I guess my question is whether this is an authentic Rogers set, and if so, when those badges were produced. The two pics show two badges but in different lighting. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!! Cheers, Matthew |

Are these kits more/less valuable than USA-made ones?

My guess would be less valuable. But to a Rogers collector, they probably have some kind of historical/evolutionary significance that might be needed for some to complete a collection...so ya never know! That's just my guess. I defer to the Rogers experts.

English Rogers - shells made by Ajax (B&H), fitted with Rogers hardware, though this may not be compatible / interchangeable with USA parts.
I still miss my old Mardi Gras set...... |
