Default 1960's Stewart (MIJ) Wrap?
Hey there. Just acquired a vintage set of Stewart drums from the 1960's. Stewart's are amazing drums when restored and properly tuned...love the tone. I do have a question though. Can anyone here advise of what this wrap is called?

I'll get photos up when the restore is done. Probably a couple weeks. Thanks for the welcome!

Fantasia Pearl is one of my favorite wraps though many hate it I love it ! I can't wait for the pics of your set . One day I hope to pick up a set in that wrap myself .

I've only had one set of Stewart drums, which had a wrap similar to blue onyx and in the jazz sizes 20,12,14 with a matching snare. It was a very well constructed set overall and one that I kind of wish I had held onto. That Fantasia Pearl wrap is delux! I've often wondered why the MIJ builders were so much more willing to use unusual pearls.
