I Appreciate the Compliment on the restoration. I posted the drum on the For Sale section yesterday in hopes someone who will really Appreciate this Fine Snare Drum will snatch it up.From what I see in research my price @ $695.00 for this HTF Drum is Very Reasonable.

Hello,
This is a Chrome Over Brass Drum. I completely disassembled the drum, ran warm water in a deep sink with dish washing liquid, soaked all the parts and took a soft soapy wash rag and cleaned.The warm soapy water broke down the years of gunk build up & made it easier to wipe down.After all was dried and wiped down I took to a friend who does paint and body.He brought the drum through a couple stages of Chrome Polishing & Buffing.

How does one differentiate between a Super Ludwig and a Supraphonic?
