Hello!
I got interested in bying a cymbal - Paiste Giant Beat 14 Hi-Hats Top, but have some doubts if it is a vintage one. I asked the owner if any stamps or a serial number other than the printed logo "PAISTE Giant Beat" (see the photos), but no answer so far. And it is difficult to see anything on the cymbal. Is it possible to ID this cymbal with such little info? Thank you! Last edited by Ace2002; 08-15-2023 at 04:57 AM. |

OK, update.
The owner says there are no other stamps or serial number on the cymbal. |

Here's a reference source to help inform your opinion on that cymbal:

So far, the only reasonable explanation is that it's been cut from a bigger size cymbal.

I wonder if the size of the cymbal bell could shed a little more light on the subject? |
