Default Advice on value of some cymbals
OK, so I have some cymbals I am selling but before I post, I want to make sure I am starting at a proper asking price, ballpark. They are as follows:

20 inch Zildjian Ride
16 inch Zildjian Crash
16 inch medium thin crash from Sabian
14 inch Zildian Hi-Hats

Pretty sure all the Zildjians are from like the 60s?

The art of Zildjian identification is complex. An entire area of discipline has resulted in a Vintage Cymbal Guide, located in the menu at the top left of the home page. I have given you a link below to go directly to the A. Zildjian identification page. Be prepared to spend some time learning the nuances of one vintage differing slightly from another. It can be a lot of work, but others have blazed the trail for you.

Thanks. It seems to not say anything about that last stamp?? Does that last one fall under the type 3 mid 50s? and there was nothing listed for type 1 though I highly doubt mine would be that old.

All 60s stamps. Unfortunately, all have commodity value, unless super thin. Very common and easy to find.

Realistic sold prices would be
20" AZildjian- $150
16" AZildjian - $100
14" AZildjian hats - $150

And these are all best day prices. Things go downhill from there - like that little keyhole shown? That will eliminate a ton of potential buyers. And it may take months to find buyers at these prices.

Sabian is early hollow logo, but not earliest. I believe that the Canadian K with slanted solid logos are earliest but I’m not a Sabian expert.
