Hi Folks,
I've a chance to get this what I believe to be a Premier 303 in WMP. Seller says it is a '66, but with the 2 rack toms I think it must be at least a '68. Plus it takes standars drum heads. The rear hoop is missing from the kick, but seller has the claws and rods. There is some damage to the wrap on the floor tom (see pic), but it appears to be on the back side of the drum I think. I offered him $500 CND for the kit and he has accepted. What do you think? Cheers Phil |

I think it's a screamin deal. Not up on Premiere stuff but still...

I'd love to find a nice Premier WMP kit like that around here for five bills. Looks really nice. Don't sweat the wrap damage on the floor. Make it stable if it hasn't been glued/repaired and enjoy the drums!!

I'm swiftly becoming a big Premier fan, those 3 ply Finish birch shells are just too sweet! I think Kieth Moon was onto something?

Yes, going away for a weeks vacation but I have arranged to pick the kit up when I return. I'll be in touch regarding the hoop. Does it have an inlay? Cheers, Phil |

That,sr. IT IS a good deal. Yes. you can buy a run of the mill set for like $300-$400 but they will never have the class or the sound of your set. If you have a little patience a Royal Ace snare on that finish will pop up on Ebay for not that much. In the meantime use your favorite snare. I'd only suggest changing the BD front head for a correct era head. The one you have on right now is from a newer era.

A very good deal. I also think this is later than '66, but it doesn't really make any difference, it's a killer. Enjoy
