I'm trying to identify this vintage pedal. "Made in France" stamped on foot board. What French manufacturer made drums in the early 1900s?

I'm not sure ASBA was around that far back.

Capelle under its own name goes back to 48. But per Dolbear, there may have been an earlier. His quote:
"There is talk on the internet that a version of the Capelle company called Cirichelli et fils began with instruments in 1908 but it’s not easy to find out anything about them and God knows I’ve tried! company" http://www.mikedolbear.com/story.asp?StoryID=2842 Dunno if that helps, my faulty french suggests that Ciricheli may have been a director/president etc of Capelle in around the 70's. Thanks for the link to the article. Interesting read. I'll have to do more research on "Ciricheli and Sons"
