Heart of Texas Music was a legendary music store worldwide. Ray, the owner, did not carry any drums in his Austin store. It was all guitars and P.A. All of his drum business came from his satellite store in Temple, Texas that sold drums in addition to the guitars and P.A. gear. This store was run by two drummers. Ray was happy to get this drum set. I doubt that it lasted a week in his store before some Austin drummer grabbed them. I wouldn't doubt that they are still being gigged.

I found this snare at a yard sale many years ago. $35...."would you take $25?"....."sure".

If you still have it, would you take $50 for it today?
