Those look like mid 60's Star drum, pre Tama.MIJ.3-4 ply luan shells. Some can be decent sounding drums with good heads and tuning>They're not very loud ,so they make a good beater/practice kit.

It looks great! Who cares how it sounds?! :D
This kit is nice. I never buy drum sets. I do however buy snares and cymbals all the time. If I were to buy a drum set I'd be looking for something like this. They're cheap, they look really great and from my experience they sound pretty OK too. Ticks all the boxes for me.
What is up with the strainer on the snare drum? I've never seen anything like it. Made In Japan in the 60's? How does it work? Lever action?

Thats a Meazzi kit from Italy...Hollywood! Around late 60s early 70s, they are fine drums.
And not much often to see anymore.
It says it on that badge anyway;-)

That's a Meazzi head logo, but these are early MIJ's. I'd lean towards Star, like Tamadrm said above. I've never seen a snare clutch like that either!
...and what's up with the re-rings, wide enough to drill for top screws on lugs?. I've not come across that before.
That`s an Italian kit by Meazzi. Aint nothing cheap about it. It looks complete and will fetch a good penny.
