Good suggestion, I may try that to preserve my existing set however I've since re-evaluated the pros & cons of getting the other set and decided it is not for me at this time. I do not really have the space to keep them and due to their fragile finish I don't want to risk destroying the finish by transporting them to gigs. They would find a better home elsewhere.

If anyone is interested in them please let me know and I will put them in contact with the owner.
