Of all the 1980's and probably early 1990's Tama bass drums used the same hole spacing....Superstar, Imperialstar, Royalstar, Swingstar, Rockstar.

The bass drum lugs might be approx 3"...

That would only verify accuracy on the low end. And ideally you'd want an uncirculated US quarter to do the job as with changing wear, those vary in weight.

You also need to verify calibration...

I have the same 12 strand Duplex wires on my mid-1930's Leedy & Strupe snare drum. And everything on that drum was original. Interesting that the patent on these remained "pending" for 5-7 years...

22 New Stamp 2540 gm. Somewhat raw and cranky for the typical "warm mushroom" New Stamp sound. And not "steely ice" like an Intermediate. How about "cranky, raw, cold mushroom?" No tape or...
