I bought this thinking it was a Royal Ace. I should have done more research first. I read about the grooved strainer being a indicator of the R.A. and this one has the smooth version. Perhaps I...

Hi folks, I'm wondering if the 2000 wood snare is essentially the same drum as the Royal Ace but with an updated strainer. I did some research and couldn't find the info.
