Cool RIP Christine McVie

Hey all,

I just seen that Christine died today in hospital after a brief illness at 79...She was a great singer songwriter...We have lost another person that help define rock and roll...

Too bad Nick Hopkins went out of business because I bought some vintage Sonor parts from him in the past...

Personally, I do not use vintage hardware when I gig...I use 90s & 2000s era hardware...

So, if you have seen them floating around, then they probably are not all that "rare"...Like you stated, clean it up, put the right heads on it and see what it can do...You may like the sound!!

The shellac will help in projection of sound...The luan is very porous, so, sealing it with shellac will help prevent the wood from absorbing the sound...
