Re: Rogers Black Onyx Drums

Those are nice! I recently got a Rogers BO 20” bass and am looking for those two toms but I’m not interested in spending that much.

Re: elvin gretsch, first 16 bass drum in history?

About 1/3 of the way down the page. This was the early 1950’s https://www.jazzwax.com/2009/03/interview-chico-hamilton-part-2.html

Re: Best Wires for a Fifteen Inch Ludwig Marcher

Black Swamp doesn’t list 15” snares. But the 14” that are “standard” are only 13”. So if you used the 14” wrap around that would get you there.

Re: What make someone do this?

I will reiterate. I have a 14x14 that someone painted black in the inside. I tried to remove the paint. Big pain and I wasn’t successful.

Re: The Magadini / Briko Power Rod Bass Drum Pedal

I remember that pedal. But I’m not sure if the recollection is from playing it (that would have been in my teacher’s studio) or just from the ads. Interested to hear more.
