Gold Satin is the wrap color if I'm not mistaken. Based on the hardware '73-'77ish. I have a set in blue satin. Cool drums. Loud and heavy. How does that snare sound? Never seen one.

I had a set of ruby strata standards with classic lugs I sold last year. Ludwig nuts told me it was not uncommon and possibly done at the end of the standard line as the lug inventory ran out.

Glad to see johnnyringo got a set that would work for him. I'm in MT and he is in TX and with shipping we couldn't match what was beneficial to both of us. Some members asked me to post more pics....

Those mounts suck. I would and do use a snare stand for my toms on the President kits I have. And my mounts are in decent shape. I would suggest NOT drilling or modifying that bass drum. Do a search...

I agree on the color. Red Oyster Pearl.

Bass spurs. 3/8" chromed rod from the hardware store will cost you about $6. They come in 3' lengths. Just cut one in half, clean up the ends, add the feet...
