Re: I saw a CLUB DATE LUDWIG kit today and need help

The bass drum tension rods and lugs look like
Club date hardware. Besides how it's a one mechanism deal to adjust both heads.

Re: I saw a CLUB DATE LUDWIG kit today and need help

So from the pics you think it's a ludwig shel? They looked clean. All the bearing edges look really nice n clean.
I'd love to make it a black oyster pearl kit.

Re: I saw a CLUB DATE LUDWIG kit today and need help

I think the BD is a ludwig because of the lugs. Don't think they'd go thru the trouble of adding the club date lugs when the rest of the kit doesn't match.

Re: I saw a CLUB DATE LUDWIG kit today and need help

thanks for the intricate post! so you're saying the kick is a luddy? that would make sense to me because why would they go thru the trouble of adding club date lugs to a normal-traditional lug kick?...

Re: I saw a CLUB DATE LUDWIG kit today and need help

it sounded really good besides the horrible way it was tuned.. The kicks lugs are annoying though because you adjust one head and at the same time the other is adjusted.. you can't do the batter...
