My kit has the 618 mounts and it is extremely sturdy, and very flexible...no complaints...My pics have dissapeared though, maybe idrum4fun can put them up again?...thx

Thx for the useful info. I picked up a 22,12,13,16 in deep red for 150 and it included a Pearl pedal,hat stand, and cymbals. Not something i would ever seek out but it fell in my lap. After a close...

Good point; I find that pins on bass drums work best as a reso head, but make sure the drum is empty of any lanndry

It seems 90% or more of MIJ drums are fitted with pinstripes for the batter. Is this because those old shells do not respond well to single ply heads?
Nothing wrong with pins but they are designed...

On the contrary, and thx for your response. My shells are indeed luuan but the mounting tom hardware resembles the hex rod style, not the swivo, but before that.
I wonder if these are from the 60,s...
