Would you be interested in these b/o badge toms in a sbp finish? They have the 3ply shells.
Thanks.

Re: Premier Drums

I haven't been to GC in years, once in awhile I'll hit Sam Ash. If I need anything drum related I'll check cl or go to a local drum business. There are two guys here that I've been dealing with for...

Re: Three Worrisome Nights

Ya, I suppose I did, but I still don't know what is causing this tightness. I finally saw the cartiologist and he said it was most likely a skeletal issue and that I should see my primary doctor. He...

Re: Premier Drums

Ya, I agree, Premier made some mistakes, but at least they survived the invasion, although I've heard it wasn't as bad in Europe.

Re: Gretsch, what do you think Iíve got here?

Whatever you have there, it was a bargain for $149. Whenever I go to MGR everything is overpriced.

Re: Premier Drums

Ya, I understand what you're saying, having to special order heads and I don't know what Premier had against 13" toms back in those days, but they sorta did adapt later. My duro plastic kit had the...

Re: Premier Drums

I believe there's some bias towards Premier, I hear a lot of guys say that they never got into Premier, but never actually owned a kit. I have to admit that this is only the third vintage Premier kit...

Re: Rogers Drums

I have the kit on Reverb, I get an email that I have an offer, the offer was exactly what I was asking. I thought, that's sorta strange, why didn't he just BIN? There was also a phone number with the...

Re: Rogers Drums

I originally asked him what his best price was and he told me $550, I told I'd think about it, I told him I needed to sell my kit in order to buy, then he came down to $450. I'm sorry that it ...

Re: Rogers Drums

More sellable? With those hideous modern kick legs and missing parts? I originally got them from Music Go Round and one of the employees told me it sat there about a year and that was after they...

Re: Rogers Drums

It's strange because I had sold a gold sparkle Premier fairly quick, it had modern kick legs and was missing the original 12" hoops. It had a 12,14,20 and I was able to get $500 out of it.

Re: Rogers Drums

Ya, he'll take $450, but as it stands right now, I'm unable to buy them unless I sell my Premier kit. I have it on CL for $450 with no bites.

Re: Rogers Drums

Ya, they are nice drums and he'll take $500, but it's just not in the cards right now. I really only wanted them so I could have a 13,16,22 set-up. I probably would had just sold the 12, never really...

Re: Rogers Drums

It looks like the tags and paint had been removed on the interior of the shells. They have white felt mufflers, would these be Fullerton?

Rogers Drums

I'm thinking about buying this Rogers kit, I know the wrap is not the coolest, but it is a Rogers. The seller will take $550, any thoughts?

Re: The Band That Wasn't The Beatles

I'm not saying a preference is an exclusionary thing, but there are some people who have a preconceived notion about almost everything.

Re: The Band That Wasn't The Beatles

Possibly, but I try to stay away from comparing anyone to The Beatles or Buddy Rich.
I remember years ago trying to get my friend to listen to a band that had that Beatles vibe, he said, why should...

Re: The Band That Wasn't The Beatles

I don't believe a lot of bands would be here if The Beatles never existed, in fact, music, specifically rock music wouldn't be the same. But lucky for us they did exist and changed everything.Yes Sir

Re: The Band That Wasn't The Beatles

If they were just another Beatles tribute band then I'd agree with you, but they weren't. They wrote their own music and ya, obviously they were influenced by The Beatles and The Beatles were...
