MIJ if found cheap- the heads that go (if it needs them and they usually do) On are The Heads you haven't used on your other sets.
You "use" up the heads and if acceptable "put em on the MIJ"

Around 1964-ish Ludwig BDP 20/12/12/16/supra...cases, stands, 20/18/14s Zildjians.... $225.. )
I say 63-4ish...

parts hard to come by and odd drum head sizes
nothing to do with looks or sound just....keeping them running and maintained; like an discontinued British car used as a daily driver in America....
