Help identifying this drum, please.

Can anyone help me with any information about what this drum is? It is a 15 1/2Ē head and almost 10Ē deep. It appears to be a one ply shell with vertical grain and an outer veneer of curly maple(?)....

A little off topic but Jeff Hamilton recently had an Instagram post displaying Shelly’s Mahogany Leedy kit that he had put new heads on. It’s beautiful. You might want to check that out.

The inside reveals all. The us made kents are two ply (actually one ply wrapped around twice) whereas the mij have vertical grain and have a thicker shell. Most of the time (maybe all of the time?)...
