Hi Wayne!

Are these pictures that you emailed to me? I can't find them if so. Let me know and we'll figure something out.

Heffron!

I think you made the best decision for this wonderful set. Steve Maxwell has the resources to properly market them. I'd love to see these set up on his YouTube channel with Steve playing...

Re: Happy 4th of July!

Hi Dan!

To answer your question, yes, it was a project set! I purchased it, as shown in the attached picture, on eBay back in August, 2013, for $300 and free shipping. This is a 1994 Slingerland...

Re: Looking for feedback on 9 piece Emerald Green Pearl Gretsch Stop Sign Badge Drum

I do think that Steve Maxwell would be interested in this kit! Just not sure what he'd pay for it, though. Especially if he needs to turn a profit.

As to those missing mufflers, they can still be...

I don't recall Sonor using Ludwig Imperial lugs on any of their snare drums!

Re: Looking for feedback on 9 piece Emerald Green Pearl Gretsch Stop Sign Badge Drum

Based on how the toms are mounted, then yes, don't break up the kit! It should be sold as one beautiful "monster" set!

While I know that vintage Gretsch drums fetch more than other US made drums,...

I believe you are correct, sir! Here's a picture of a Maxwin set from the 1982 catalog. Wrap is Blue Flash.

Hi azazel... and Welcome to the forum!

"Toro" is a new one for me! Still, probably just another "stencil" name to add to the ever growing list! You are correct about the Pearl-style lugs and tom...

Re: How I celebrated my 68th birthday!

O-Lugs!

#1. While I've never had a slipped disc, I would agree totally with your comment!

#2. Yep, that's where I'm at. 3 months in and it hasn't diminished! I finally gave in and took a Norco...

John! If only I would have had my vaccine, I'd be feeling fine today! I just kept putting it off, thinking I would be immune to contracting Shingles! The truth is, at 3 months now, that the infected...

Yes, they are "entry-level" cymbals, but all the reviews and YouTube videos I just watched are very positive! The Black-Label models, like yours, seem to be pretty good! You've already got a bid at...
