Although, in my experience, most of the unwashed masses listen with their eyes.

Possibly a Henry Potter and Co. Drum from the UK or a Pakistani/India knock-off? I'm not sure, but I think that the Potter company would stamp their mark on the shell of the drum. Perhaps someone...

My best guess is that the screws and washers have some amount of Zinc in the steel?
I have dealt with this by cleaning and brushing them off with Dawn dish soap using a small plastic bristle brush...

Can you tell what the advantage this pedal has over the Martin/Camco style?
I'm trying to wrap my head around the physics of this thing. Seems like some extra mechanical stress...

Camcos on stage with an orchestra through his headphones and he came out on the stage at intermission to see what the hell...

There is also a a few reverse-engineered vintage drum marketers that sell drums they sometimes refer to as "Custom", which is a modern shell that is fitted with period parts...

Just Wow! Surely you have played the "Hawaii 5-0" theme on them? I bought my four piece New England White Rogers kit in 1975, and I still have it too.

The highest point in Florida is 345 ft...

The pics didn't really do the detailing justice. The drum in the correct light looks really clean and shiny.
