Finally found my kit!

Hi all,
Well, after searching the web for a good condition Premier or Olympic kit for quite a while, it appears the saying " good things come to those who wait" became most appropriate.
I got what...

Hi folks,
Can anyone identify the approximate year of this Rogers kit?
What confuses me is that the tom holder has the "R" on it, while utilizing the swivomatic attachments to the toms. Is this...

Yes, going away for a weeks vacation but I have arranged to pick the kit up when I return. I'll be in touch regarding the hoop. Does it have an inlay?
Cheers, Phil

Good deal?

Hi Folks,
I've a chance to get this what I believe to be a Premier 303 in WMP.
Seller says it is a '66, but with the 2 rack toms I think it must be at least a '68. Plus it takes standars drum...

Premier 303 bass drum hoop

Will a regular aftermarket 20" bass hoop fit on a '66 Premier 303 ?
I'm looking at a really nice '66 kit in WMP but batter hoop is missing.
Cheers, Phil

Re: Premier T-Rods on Bass Drum

I have also been told that XPK kits did not have black interiors, but clear. But, this is a lacquered finish not a wrap, which should mean XPK ? Confused!

Re: Help with Identification

Thanks for the input folks. I almost thought it may be an old Sonor kit, but hard to tell.

May seem like a silly question, but is this a wrap or a laquered finish?

Re: Vintage Premier

Thanks for all your input folks. I guess my main concern is the price. Is this figure of $1900 with hardware or $1800 without in-line with what one would expect to pay for this model and age.
He...

Re: '68 Luds

I see what you mean, but I think it is a reflection, possibly of the rack tom above. Don't think it's a patch because the Oyster lines seem to match up all the way through.
Ah well, I'm going to...
