Re: 60's Rogers Floor Tom s/n label - markings?

Glad you liked the photos. I took those several years ago, but nothing has changed much. A look at Covington and the Rogers sites. Yes, it is amazing that so many drums came from that little...

Re: Snare beds on a 20’s Ludwig

I see what you are talking about in the photo. However, the picture is taken on an angle and could make it look more off center than it is. Have you had a chance to exam in the drum in person?

Re: A little help with a possible unicorn snare

Very interesting. What is the red along the bottom? Was the finish originally red that faded to white (assuming they made that finish in other colors than white)? It would certainly match up with...

Re: Rogers dynasonic

Every Rogers in a 6.5” depth from the Covington era is rare, be it Dyna, Powertone, Tower or Luxor, and your Dyna is a beauty. It is a whole different beast than the 5x14 cob Dyna.

Looking...

Congratulations! Nice drum and glad you picked it up. Now maybe you should customize it with some snare beds.

Re: One Way Out With Ludwig

Nice job. You played for the music and good clean relaxed playing. I really like the sound you got out of your snare drum. It had nice character and depth.

Re: Rogers Mardi Gras that got away.

Hope someone here got those drums. They will be very happy. 3 ply shells and tall hoops. Perhaps the best sounding Rogers. Only downside is most likely first generation beavertail lugs - the posts...

Wow! Way to go guys. Nice of you to help a fellow drum brother sell a drum. Ha! This whole price discussion thing gets very boring. Sellers can ask whatever they want. No need to step all over...
