I played the trombone from 6th to 9th grade.A friend sat me on his set at 19 and I played John Bonham ****, so I play drums now at almost 60 years old.

Vintagedrumguide.com only starts with GeoWay in 57 and jumps to Camco in 59 with the flat based stands going fwd for several years.I have two flat based stands.

One funky problem is that your room is square...HUGE room nodes,so standing waves will prevail too.
BUT Ive heavily treated my small room with Owens Corning 703 and 705...
