zildjian made in Canada

Loading...

I have a set of 14" Made in Canada Zildjian hihats. They are marked thin and medium thin. I would like to find out their age. I have had them myself for 24 years now and they looked fairly aged when i got them. Any help is much appreciated

I am assuming between 1975 and 1979. Before 1975 canadian Zildjians were sold under the name Zilco by Azco and by 1981 Robert Zildjian had the factory running under the Sabian name. I could be way off, but that is what I managed to grab through wikis and whatnot. I'm sure someone else will chime in.

1964 Ludwig Champagne Super Classic
1970 Ludwig Blue Oyster Super Classic
1977 Rogers Big R Londoner 5 ebony
1972/1978 Rogers Powertone/Big R mix ebony
60's Ludwig Supersensitive
Pearl B4514 COB snare ( the SC snare)
Pearl Firecracker
PJL WMP maple snare
Odds & Sods

Sabians, Paistes, Zildjians, Zyns, UFIPs, MIJs etc
