Does any out there play/own zildjian impulse cymbals? I've been playing an Impulse 20" ride with raw bell since about 1987. From what I've been able to find, it was made from '84-'87 I think and the precursor to the Z Rock . I just ask because I've never seen any Impulse cymbals for sale on sleazbay or CL or heard anybody talk about them. It's an OK cymbal. I liked it better when I was playing hard rock in the 80's but it's not bad.

I have a 22" impulse ride I bought in '85. I still haven't played it. The drummer from simple minds used it....supposedly. It was (to me ) a low budget solution to RUDES. I used a 20" flat ride until I got a 24" Z ride. The Impulse remains as a museum piece now.
