Agreed. I wouldn't pay that much for it, but I've been getting some decent bucks for splashes. They're usually on the rarer side since most were broken and didn't survive.
I know. I have a trans stamp splash from the late '40's perhaps early '50s. It sounds great, but I think its pretty rare and don't really use it much as a result. It's probably not worth a whole lot, I'm holding on to it mostly as an interesting piece of memorabilia.
