I recently purchased these vintage 14" Hi-hats. I'm hoping some of you can help me date them and tell me if they are a matched pair.

The stamps looks like they're of the late 50's to early 60's era. The stamp on the top cymbal is less pronounced then the stamp on the bottom cymbal. Might this be due to wear and playing?

There is also a stamp that says "med heavy band" on the bottom cymbal. This cymbal weighs in at 1226 grams, which is almost twice as heavy as the top (659 grams). I've read that Zildjian didn't start using stamps until the late 70's?.

What do you all think?
