Hi folks,
For a while now I've had this old cymbal kicking around, made by Zildjian I think it's called a Trio crash/ride. 20", it has a trio of rivets and the word Trio faintly visible...
Thus I deduce the name!
Anyone else come across them? I can find very little info on the net. Someone once told me they date from the early eighties? It's a sweet sizzling ride but I particularly love to crash her!

........and I thought I had a rare A.Zildjian. I have a 20" ride with an 8" bell,and its stamped 'FLAT TOP'. Go figure.
Yea, i have one of those.. although mine is 18".
The guy i bought it from had owned it since the mid 70's..
Aside from you i've heard of one other person that owns one, so i think they're pretty rare.
I'm gonna make a video of it that will appear on youtube :)

So I guess they're 70's issue then. Likewise I've not known anyone else own one, or even really know of them.
