Oh yeah, is that the one that has (2) 28" kicks, (2) 15" racks, (2) 20" floor toms or something like that? I remember the Rainbow "On Stage" album listed every piece of the band's gear on the back of the record jacket.

Ok here's my shot at the ideal dream kit for me. It would be a Gretsch early 80's Jasper shelled kit in either Walnut or Maple finish. The sizes would include 14x18, 14x20, 14x22, 16x22, 14x24, 14x26 kicks; 5.5x6/7x8/8x10/8x12/9x13/10x14/12x15/14x14/16x16/16x18 toms and floor toms. I am not sure how I would mount the toms. Snare drums would be a myriad of different sizes and materials. The point is, this kit is not going to be set up all at the same time. I would just have anything I ever needed for any situation. Although, it would look sweet all set up with a gong all Alex Van Halen style...

I think a Gretsch 3 ply double bass kit with 24" BD's in Champagne would be pretty hard to beat.......pardon the pun. Calfs all around........
But,a Rogers kit in Steel Grey Ripple is real sweet..22" BD........
A 60's Sonor New York in Satin Flame.
Gretsch 18,12,14 in Red Wine Pearl
on and on.......
too hard to narrow down to just one!
"Always make sure your front bottom BD lugs clear the ground!"
