Bearing edges factory perfect and sound great with those thinner beach shells than the absolute - no longer in production, but some nicks as follows:

bd has two small nicks on top (1/2") - one on left , one on right as well as several nicks on the edge of the batter hoop running along about 8" (but this could be placed at floor level and not be seen)

10 and 12 have good amount of snare rash, with 12 having more
