So , some of you may remember a thread i posted about restoring a very badly damaged bass drum hoop from my Yamaha Tour series kick.

It was interesting to see responses, thoughts, and advice about the possible repair or replacement of the damaged hoop.. But here's the fun part.. I'm going to post the results as soon as they're both finished (i'll be sanding, restaining and relacquering both hoops to as close to the original finish as possible) but i'll leave your imaginations running and have you guys venture a guess as to whether or not i replaced the damaged hoop, if i sanded and restained the replacement hoop, or if the original was repaired ...;);)

I will post before, during and after pics as soon as they're done !
