Yamaha 9000 kit - web site visitor

Loading...

hi there

I have a yamaha 9000 kit from when they were still made in taiwan (1980). I'm wondering if these are becoming "vintage". I have heard rumors to that effect. I don't know if you do appraisals of these drums or even have an opinion. I am interested in selling them as I have 3 other kits. Thanks for any info.

Yamaha drums do hold a certain value. I have a 60's Snare in my collection and I have owned Yamaha Sets over the years. I personaly would not consider 80's drums as vintage, but they are old at that. 25 years old!!

Some people do call them vintage and I never figured out what the actual year break down would be of what "Vintage".

Your Yamaha set has a value, but without pictures and more detail it is hard to figure that out. Just like any manufacturer there is a certain following of collectors and Yamaha has that following.
