I've listened to a lot of samples of these cymbals on Youtube, and bought a 12" traditional splash.I really like it.I'm hoping to find an 18"traditional series thin crash/ride too,as I liked what I heard.I think Wuhans sound better than either B8's or ZXT's for student grade cymbals.

Good cymbals. hand hammered. Very decent. I enjoy the 8" splash on my kit. Wuhan China has produced cymbals for two thousand years...all the way back to Jesus! They know howto make them. Underrated because of the low price.

A drummer friend bought an XS 20 ride @ GC a while ago-it was OK for a student type cymbal-better than most.I have 3 different student rides aquired from different drum set purchases-Scimitar Bronze,B8 Plus, regular B8.They all qualify as "something to hit".Also a pair of B8 Pro hi hats-AWFUL CLANGY migranemakers.....

Ya I wish I knew what my Zidjian hats were when I was a teenager, those were the best. All I can remember is they had the Zildian stamp nothing else, no ink stamps. Must have been from the seventies. My best hats today are Sabian AA Rock Hats and ther are good but nothing like my old Zildjians, why did I sell them??? doh!!!!

Zildjian "New Beats"from the 60's/70's are pretty common on 3bay.I got a pair with a drumset purchase a few years ago,and I'd forgotten how really nice they sound-that half open shpshhhhhh sound. Those and my Paiste 2002 ripply-bottoms are ALL I NEED.......

jccab,

You can find Zildjian New Beats as Teverson says easily for about $100-150 set. I found an old 60's pair from a friend . The top hat has about a 1" crack at the edge. It sounds really nice even with the crack...maybe better than without.

Yeah, I am selling some early 70s Zildjian HHs on Ebay right now, but I would rather him find exactly what he is seeking........

15 hours to go....125 is better than 150, though you can get them for 158 right now BIN.

Happy hunting!

John

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Thank you, I will post pics of the wuhans if anyone wants. I have been on the look out for a nice pair of Zildian hats, kind of thing I like to see in person before I buy it. Someday they will pop up and it will be my lucky day.
