Hihave to check...but I think I might have 10 of the tube lugs..mine are vintage....not new..Can you put a METAL RULER or YARDSTICK up next to one of the rods you need (no tape measure please!)..starting at the flared out collar?Might have those also...or close..I have the Puresound wires for 13" also...
Excellent! Vintage or new, doesn't matter to me, as long as they're not in too bad of shape.
I actually don't have any rods (which is why I need a lot of them :P ). This is for a 13x6" stave shell I picked up about a year ago and am just getting around to buying the parts for. It's already been drilled for all the parts I have listed, the tension rods would be fitting into the tube lugs, with ~1-3/4" from the center of the lug hole to the edge of the shell. I'll see if I can find any spare rods I have laying around that might be similar in size, but assuming the insert for the hoop extends down ~1/2" from the edge of the drum, like my other 13" snares, I'm presuming they're probably 1-1/2" to 1-3/4" tension rods, depending on how far they can recess into the lug?
Definitely let me know what you're working with! ;)
*edit* Whoops, I dunno what I was thinking when I posted I needed 16 lugs and 32 tension rods... Keep forgetting this snare has tube lugs that extend to both sides of it, so I only need half of that - 8 lugs and 16 rods ;)
