WTB Sonor Teardrop kit

Loading...

Looking to purchase Sonor mid-60s kit in the "Krystall-M Silber Schwarz" finish. Yes I have checked on sonormuseum but no luck and looking to buy in the states. This finish is in the 1965 catalog and has also been referred to as "sparkling silver with black lines" if I'm not mistaken, but I could be... However the silver usually looks gold due to fading. Somebody out there has these to sell and I'll purchase them from you for the right price.

Thanks

I have heard that finish referred to as "TV" also...

Maybe like the horizontal lines in a TV pre HDT?

Yeah maybe blairndrums. I've noticed that in photos that finish has a "movement" to it and it creates a weird look. Only in photos though. Weird.

I have had drums in that finish..but it was MANY moons ago...

I have some lugs/rims for a kit if you find one missing those...

Just sent some of the teardrop lugs to Hungary recently....Cool1

Thanks I appreciate the offer. I'll definitely keep that in mind. I bought a black galaxy or black sparkle 13" tom off ebay just for the rims. Wish I'd found you earlier. Thinking of making a snare out of that tom maybe...who knows.
